George is
MeadowBrook’s managing partner and plays a key role in the firm’s
equity effort. Prior to joining MeadowBrook, George was Chief Investment
Officer and Co-Head of First Chicago NBD Investment Management Company,
one of the nations leading investment firms. At year-end 1998, the firm
had asset under management in excess of $60 billion.
George’s role included investment responsibility for the highly
successful Pegasus Mutual Fund family, which offered 29 funds covering a
diverse range of investment styles.
In addition, George was directly involved with the high net worth
and institutional market segments.
George oversaw a staff in excess of 170 employees and reported to
a Vice Chairman of the corporation.
A similar role was held at the predecessor company, NBD Bancorp.
Before becoming Chief Investment Officer, George served in a
variety of equity roles, including analysis, head of research and
manager of the firm’s largest equity mutual fund, the Pegasus
Growth/Value Fund. This last position was held for ten years.
That fund’s performance exceeded the benchmark for the one,
three and five year periods ending June 1994, when George’s tenure
ended. George is a member
of the CFA Society of Detroit.

Dale
B. Embry
Age:

Dale is
MeadowBrook’s Head of Portfolio Management and is a contributor to the
equity investment process. Prior to joining MeadowBrook, Dale was the
former Managing Director of National Institutional Management Group for
Banc One Investment Advisors and the predecessor organizations, First
Chicago NBD Investment Management Company and NBD Bancorp. This group
was responsible for portfolio management of the banks’ largest
institutional client’s portfolios, typically those accounts in excess
of $10 million with the largest exceeding $450 million.
Dale had direct responsibility for the key clients, managing
institutional assets in excess of $3.5 billion. Dale was also in charge
of 10 professionals that in total, managed $10 billion in assets.
Dale’s investment experience dates back to 1987, when he joined
the group as a portfolio analyst. Prior
to that he worked in other functions at NBD Bancorp.

Robert
T. Grabowski

Bob
is in charge of MeadowBrook’s Fixed Income investing, operations and
trading. Prior to joining MeadowBrook, Bob was the manager of the
Municipal Bond Group for First Chicago NBD Investment Company and prior
to that NBD Bancorp. This
group of 7 professionals managed in excess of $5.8 billion in assets, in
individual accounts and in the Pegasus Mutual Funds.
In addition to heading the group, Bob was responsible for the
largest relationships as well as managing the Pegasus Municipal Bond
Fund and the Intermediate Municipal Bond Fund.
At year-end 1998, the Pegasus Municipal Bond Fund ranked in the
top quartile of the Lipper Universe ranking of municipal bond funds for
one, three and five year periods. Bob’s
investment experience dates back to 1979.
Prior to that he worked in the operations group at NBD Bancorp.
At MeadowBrook,. Bob
is a member of the Bond Club of Detroit, an associate member of the CFA
Society of Detroit and a member of the National Federation of Municipal
Analysts.

Ronald
L. Doyle, CFA

At
MeadowBrook, Ron is the Head of Equity Investment. Before joining MeadowBrook in 1999, Ron was the lead manager
of the One Group Diversified Mid-Cap and the One Group Small-Cap Value
Funds. These two funds
along with related accounts had assets in excess of $2 billion at
year-end 1998. Ron managed both predecessor Mid-Cap and Small Cap
Opportunity funds and the related individual accounts for First Chicago
NBD Investment Management Company and NBD Bancorp.
In addition, Ron was the Group Head in charge of all Equity
Management at First Chicago NBD Investment Management Company.
Ron had been in charge of the Opportunity product group since
1989. Ron’s equity
products have been characterized as having moderately below average
risk, below average turnover and above average returns.
From 1982 to 1989 Ron was an equity analyst at NBD Bancorp,
developing experience and expertise in a number of industries.
Ron left Bank One Corporation in October of 1999 with the title
of Senior Vice President. Ron
is a member of the CFA Society of Detroit.
